Health Law Navigator: Litigation 101 – The Basics

This session provides an overview of the litigation process from what happens before a lawsuit is filed to final resolution. We will walk through a roadmap for “typical” cases and discuss how cases stray from the “typical” in the real world. We will also cover strategies for reducing litigation risk both before and after a lawsuit is filed. Whether a case is litigated all the way through trial and appeal or settled at some point in between, understanding the process can help lawyers and business people better execute other aspects of their jobs.
